IDC's Asia/Pacific Events
2012 is predicted to be the year when organisations will be cutting through the hype and embarking on a transformational journey. ICT Transformation being the ICT industry's shift to its third major platform of growth — built on mobile, cloud, social, and Big Data technologies and applying new disruptive deployment and procurement models such as "Pay as you Go", "Bring your own Device (BYOD)" and "Consumerisation of IT".
These trends are truly disruptive forces that will transform ICT’s value to business. Effectively managing and leveraging ever-increasing volumes of data via a rapidly increasing variety of client devices and optimising delivery of ICT and business services are key priorities for CIOs, with the result that the spotlight is now on a combination of technology game changers.
With the Transformative ICT event, IDC would like to lead a discussion about important trends, challenges and opportunities that will help shape the transformative framework for end users.
