Introduction
Understand how evolutions within the datacenter platform and environment improve responsiveness to business demands In a recent maturity study of datacenters in ASEAN, IDC found that many datacenters are operating at sub-efficient levels. Today’s datacenters are changing rapidly. Many enterprises are integrating new technology solutions to modernize and evolve their organizations. Most are pursuing a path to ensure appropriate levels of IT service delivery and cost efficiency and alignment to business goals. For some datacenters, this means providing state-of-the-art levels of availability, flexibility, and scalability. For others, the goal may be to provide “sufficient” levels of services while keeping new capital expenditures to a minimum. Either way, datacenters can be placed on a spectrum of efficiency and flexibility. An interesting and pertinent take-away of the study was that most datacenters in ASEAN are at a key evolutionary point; where the opportunities to modernize can deliver proven business advantages. Using the ASEAN Datacenter Maturity Model (developed by IDC for this study), the levels of datacenter maturity can be compared and contrasted across the region to arrive at a roadmap to achieve greater competitiveness. Mr Simon Piff, Associate Vice President of IDC – invites you to an exclusive, executive-level roundtable to discuss how you can leverage the findings from this maturity study to transform your datacenters and deliver maximum returns to the business. Through this roundtable, you and your peers will have the opportunity for a open discussion on the following:
